AppGate makes access to terminal services easier for users outside the office

Version 8 of AppGate's Secure Access Platform introduces enhanced support for access to Microsoft Windows Terminal Services and Remote Desktop. In this new version it is very easy for the administrator to configure and customise services for users.
As the use of Microsoft Terminal Services increases, so does the challenge for system administrators to deliver easy access for remote users whilst also maintaining the security of the network.
Version 8.0 of the Secure Access Platform makes this easy. The AppGate client will inspect the users workstation and automatically locate the local RDP client or, if necessary, download and start a java-based RDP client. All of this happens without administrator intervention and is completely transparent to the user.
The AppGate Security Server also enables single-sign-on functionality for RDP connections, much like the existing web SSO functionality that exist today.
