AppGate Secure Access Platform is designed for large organisations and
can be used to provide and protect access to sensitive applications in an
organisations network.
AppGate's Secure Access Platform can be a part of the organisations
contingency plan and can give, employees, customers, partners and
support personal access to the corporate systems from any place
whenever it«s needed.
The customer buys an ICE Server to suit their capacity needs and pays
an annual fee for the licenses.
Two licenses are provided; a 5 concurrent users valid for one year, the ICE license will then be used in case of
emergency, also valid for one year.
Existing AppGate Security Server installations can also be used, in which case customers only need to pay
the annual fee. Using the 5 extra licenses, the Server can be set up and tested and with a role for all applications for the whole user community and then backed up and left in place for the day something unexpected
happens.
With the ICE license key the company is able to upgrade the AppGate
Server to unlimited numbers of users for a maximum of 90 days at a
moments notice.
The AppGate ICE Server will give companies and governments an
option to maintain service during an unpredictable event for a small
outlay. The AppGate solution can be set up and tested by a limited number
of users and by just adding the ICE solution the unit can be upgrade to
unlimited number of users for a 90 day period.
This can be used for
emergencies allowing users access to internal systems without any
constraints about the device, connection or location.
