MIAMI – March 25, 2020 – AppGate, the cybersecurity company providing solutions for people, devices and systems based on the principles of Zero Trust security, today announced a distribution agreement with Promark, a premier, U.S.-focused value added distributor (VAD) and wholly-owned subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM).
The deal will put AppGate’s leading-edge secure access solution into the hands of more enterprises and government organizations that face increasingly-complex and rapidly-changing cybersecurity threats.
Under the agreement, Promark will distribute AppGate SDP, a unique and robust software-defined perimeter solution, among its growing base of U.S. channel partners. AppGate SDP will help Promark clients replace inadequate Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology and securely address remote access and cloud migrations. This is especially important now as companies are implementing mass, unexpected, remote workforce initiatives in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
