WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, decided move away from their traditional security model and embrace a Software-Defined Perimeter (SDP). SDP allowed them to have full visibility into their network, including who had access to a given application as well as related contextual data. As a result, WW was able to tighten access to enterprise applications, greatly improve the user experience of its 22,000 corporate users working remotely and from various locations, and eliminate the complexity and vulnerabilities of VPNs.
